The Very Hungry Caterpillars of RM!

Wow, what a fun few weeks we have had learning about the hungry caterpillar! Through this book, we learnt our:
- numbers
- days of the week
-patterns
and it was just a lot of fun!

The play dough station was a hoot! 

Our book station really encouraged the kids to explore and inquire independently. 

The book got the kids excited about making patterns even during free play!

As a class project, we made some caterpillar necklaces that followed a 2/3 colour pattern. This not only got them thinking about following patterns, but it helped them work on fine motor skills. 

This week, we are learning about butterflies and symmetry. More photos will follow - watch this space :)
