Wow!
What a creative class we have...

We all enjoyed our first school trip together to the wonderful Paron school of Art.
The children were transformed into budding young artists as soon as they put their aprons on.
Paint brushes at the ready, reception worked together to co create a masterpiece!

		Next half term
Phonics/ writing	This week we reviewed the camera words learned last term on unit 1 and introduced the new camera words for unit 2. ‘she, be, we , me, was, my’	Next week we will review all sounds learned from unit 1 and 2 and assessing students on letters sounds and camera words.
Math	This week, we revisited ‘patterns’. How can we recognize a pattern? How can we follow a pattern? How can we create one? We also learned that we can make patterns with objects, colors, letters and ultimately numbers.	Next week, we will be conducting assessments on the topic covered this term.
PSED	This week we learned about sculptures. What is a sculpture? What type of sculpture can we find in the world? What can we use to make a sculpture? We made various sculptures with natural materials and experimented with salted play dough.	Next week, we will be learning about prints and work on various Christmas.
